Lead industry sectors in Hampshire County are Retail Trade, Leisure and Hospitality, and Educational Services, which taken together comprise 44.7% of private sector jobs in that area.

Resource Room
Franklin Hampshire Career Center’s resource rooms in Northampton and Greenfield are equipped with: personal computer workstations with internet access, Microsoft Office Suite software, TTY phone, a standard telephone, copier, fax machine, local and regional telephone directories, job posting books, resume, cover letter, and related reference books, newspapers, training catalogs from various schools, community resource bulletin board, brochure station and various employment related handouts. All of these resources are available to job seekers free of charge for employment and training search activities.
Computer Lab
Each office location also has a computer lab. Our labs are equipped with a full complement of Microsoft office applications and typing tutorials.  A variety of basic computer workshops are available at no cost to registered job seekers throughout the academic calendar year.
