Attention - Unemployment Claimants!! |
A new federal law has been passed allowing states to pay up to 13 weeks of extended unemployment insurance benefits. The extended benefits program is effective beginning July 6, 2008 and will end on March 31, 2009. To file for extended benefits, you may call on after Monday July 7. There is a toll-free number specifically for filing extended benefits claims. The number is 1-888-998-8418. The best times to call are between 4-6PM, Monday through Thursday. All potentially eligible claimants will be notified by mail within the next three weeks. |

Our offices are located in Northampton and Greenfield, with a satellite office in Orange, Massachusetts. We serve 50 municipalities across the Franklin Hampshire and North Quabbin area. In addition, the Career Center provides the following services to job seekers and employers. |
