The One Stop Career Center system is an efficient and responsive way for businesses to get employment services. Connecting with job seekers, training money and community partners has never been easier. Our professional staff will work closely with you to understand your business goals and customize our services to fit your employment needs.

Your job openings can be posted for free to the Massachusetts One Stop Employment System Mass Job Quest website. Just download a Job Order Form*, complete it and send it to The Franklin Hampshire Career Center by mail, fax (413-784-1170), or email the following address:

We will also post your job on our “Hot Jobs” list updated and made available daily to all walk in customers. Each new job is also circulated to job counselors and employment specialists at the Career Center.

| Franklin Hampshire Career Center offers on-site recruitment sessions and informational events. We will coordinate all facets of your organization's recruitment event, including contacting, pre-screening and matching of qualified candidates. We will assign a staff member to assist from beginning to end. The Career Center also partners with area businesses and business groups to sponsor Job Fairs that provide employers with targeted business recruiting. You do the hiring. Of 6,687 businesses in the Franklin and Hampshire workforce area reporting employment in 2005, 88% had fewer than 20 employees. These firms, however, accounted for about 28% (24,380) of the total number of jobs (87,618) in our area. By contrast, 129 companies (1.9%) in our area employ greater than 100 employees. These businesses were responsible, however, for over 43% (37,846) of all jobs in the Franklin Hampshire workforce area. |

| The Career Center can provide your business with access to the state’s online resume bank and information on job applicants. You can review resumes of qualified job seekers and make contact with them. Click here to access the Job Posting (TalentQuest) page. Our staff can also run a "match" for your needs to current job seeker qualifications to identify only those prospective employees that meet your criteria. |

| With funding made available by Massachusetts employers, the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund provides resources to Massachusetts businesses and workers to train current and newly hired employees. The Business Service unit of the Franklin Hampshire Career Center guides perspective applicants through the process. This training includes the General Fund, the Express Fund and the Hiring Incentive Training Grant. |

| The Hiring Incentive Training Grant Program is open to all employers. It provides training grants of up to $2,000 per employee and up to $30,000 a year per company. This program assists in paying training costs for newly hired employees who have been unemployed over a year and those that do not have a call back date from their last employer. |

| Franklin Hampshire Career Center provides information on federal tax credit options for businesses hiring individuals from certain targeted groups. This credit is called the Work Opportunity Tax Credit. |

| Franklin Hampshire Career Center offers customized outplacement services through our Rapid Response Team for organizations experiencing layoffs, downsizing and relocation.
